Medan Addis Ababa ACTS is a joint Kale Heywet Church and SIM strategy in Ethiopia.
Medan is an Amharic word for 'Saving the Generation' and ACTS is an acronym for AIDS Control, Treatment and Support.
In a neglected slum area in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, there is very little support for people with HIV, even though the infection rate is almost 12%.
SIM through the Ethiopian Kale Heywet Church (EKHC) and the Government of Canada (CIDA) is responding with:
