Farm families of Awi Zone in Ethiopia work hard to feed families and provide the necessities of life in a land where soils have been farmed for centuries.

This project aims to see farmers lead a "better life", both physically and spiritually. The project has introduced fruits such as apple and pears, and improved foods for the farm animals, trained families in gardening and nutrition, and distributed useful native trees and shrubs.

In all of this we desire to see God glorified in careful care-taking of the resources He has given to the people of Awi Zone in northern Ethiopia.

Suggested gift amounts
  • $10 supplies 100 seedlings
  • $100 supplies 1,000 seedlings
  • $30 provides training for 10 Ethiopian farm women in nutrition and gardening - An Ethiopian mother never feels like she has enough to feed her family
