SIM Canada believe that regionalization will develop deeper relationships that will lead to a greater understanding of and participation in mission.

In some cases, Regional Representation has been in place for many years. In other regions the representation has been piecemeal (Prairies) or almost non-existent (Quebec).

In order to deepen missions awareness, gain significant profile, and offer quality services to our member missionaries, it will require an investment of personnel, finances, and activities for several years before the investment is offset by missionary recruitment. This investment is deemed essential to SIM Canada's ongoing sustainability.

Suggested gift amounts
  • $10 per month provides basic administrative needs for a region
  • $20 provides for a teleconference call between the national office and the regions
  • $50 assists in the francophoning of communication materials needed for the Quebec region
  • $100 assists Regional Directors and Mission Consultants with their visits to churches and applicants
