Our Vision
…moving toward twenty ten SIM Canada is becoming a facilitating agency

SIM Canada is an agency that facilitates
  • sending people to the field
  • receiving people from the field
  • educating and equipping Canadian churches to become ‘intercultural’ and develop a mission vision
  • partnering in innovative ways with donors, churches and individuals both here in Canada and with SIM fields overseas
Who we are
SIM Canada is a community of God's people who delight to worship God and serve our neighbour in fulfilling the mission of Jesus Christ in the world.
Our purpose
SIM Canada embraces the SIM International purpose statement which is:
To glorify God by planting, strengthening, and partnering with churches around the world as we: evangelize the unreached, minister to human need, disciple believers into churches, and equip churches to fulfill Christ’s Commission.

Impassioned by God’s love,
SIM Canada implements this purpose by creatively facilitating intercultural ministries locally and globally

Our values
At SIM Canada, we strive to be:
  • seeking God and His direction in all that we do
  • nurturing healthy relationships
  • equipping and empowering people to reflect Christ in their community
  • cultivating dynamic partnerships
Our vision
To realize our purpose:
SIM Canada will be renewed so that by 2010 more of the Canadian church will be engaged interculturally and connected globally to declare and demonstrate the gospel among all nations in our local and global neighbourhoods

Our strategic directions
To achieve our ‘to twenty ten’ vision SIM Canada will:
1. Prepare and empower the SIM Canada team to facilitate ‘to twenty ten’
  • develop a stronger understanding and focus on ‘to twenty ten’’
  • develop an internal structure and staff capability that will achieve ‘to twenty ten’
  • develop the resource base that will support ‘to twenty ten’
  • develop and sustain effective internal systems to enable the SIM Canada team to implement ‘to twenty ten’
2. Build mutual partnerships and facilitate intercultural ministries
  • develop models and priorities for mutual partnership agreements
  • establish and support partnerships with churches, agencies, and other key stakeholders
  • connect Canadian and international partners
