An important aspect of the training of Christian leaders is also to equip them with practical living skills needed to improve their quality of life and ministries. Most students come with only subsistence farming experience.
One objective of the school is to equip both men and women with practical life skills to improve farming techniques, to broaden their experience and vision of agricultural possibilities, and train in other local income earning activities that help provide funds for student fees and improve their quality of life.
Women will also be trained in many small scale economic generators (e.g. sewing, crocheting, knitting, soap production).
