The project's two research farms, totaling 57 ha, serve as experimental and demonstration sites for profitable agriculture using appropriate technology, whilst providing opportunity for mentoring, discipling and evangelizing those who work there. The addition of three 2 ha village demonstration farms in high-visibility locations, accompanied by teaching, extends the findings to local farmers. Training of other organizations is a further means of extension.
The health program, working alongside the agricultural work, is preventative in nature, built on a base of nutrition, hygiene and sanitation, and training traditional birth attendants. Chronological Bible Storying accompanies the teaching, and both health and agricultural teaching in a local Bible school give further opportunity for dissemination of information.
