Sandy has been living & working in Doro, South Sudan since 2007. Her work has been primarily in health care ministries; assisting in setting up and managing the Doro health clinic for 5 years. After stepping down from this in 2012, Sandy set up a family planning programme which was requested by the local Mabaan women. This family planning programme is now established into the Doro clinic maternity programme. This ministry provides many opportunities to share Christ with Sudanese women and their husbands. In 2016, Sandy stepped back from managerial involvement with the health clinic & is now a consultant to the health clinic manager. She developed a health education programme which the clinic staff use when they go out into the communities to give health education. At this time, Sandy is the SIM team leader & Doro Base Manager, as well as Church Discipleship Project manager & a consultation for the health clinic. Sandy loves to disciple individuals & small groups in Bible study. Sandy’s passion is to see the South Sudanese Christians grow in their faith in Christ, and to see a vibrant Church that reaches out beyond their communities to share the Gospel with those who have not yet heard.
