5 weeks of Christmas

This Christmas we want to help build the global church! We have projects that help all aspects of Church ministry in several different countries around the world!  Leading up to Christmas, we’ll introduce you to each project.  See how you can get involved this year to impact lives and share the gospel where Christ is least known.

Winning Children, Growing Leaders - Burkina Faso (Children’s Ministry)

I didn’t know Caroline very well, but at a recent training seminar for children’s ministry trainers she impressed me as being very passionate and committed to training children's workers. Caroline commented, “I never saw myself as a trainer. I never even knew I could teach children let alone adults. It was during a Training of Trainers’ seminar held three years ago that I felt God wanted me to teach children about Him and train others to do the same.” At the seminar, delegates prepare a bible lesson and present it to small groups. “I realized that I could teach!” Now Caroline leads a children’s bible club meeting at her home and helps with several other clubs.  Ministry to children is such a big need in Burkina Faso. Will you support this work with much needed funds to train more Caroline’s?

This project trains and equips capable key ministry leaders, children’s workers, and pastors to develop sound ministries which are effective in reaching children with the gospel and helping them to grow in their faith. These leaders are prepared to carry out ongoing training of new workers.

Mekelle Youth Center - Ethiopia (Youth Ministry)

No ads or signs mark the location. Only word of mouth brings thousands of kids to the youth centre. Close friendships are built among the kids and staff. The staff invest in these kids and strive to see them build healthy relationships, make good life decisions, learn strong character, and develop spiritual depth as they come to know God.

Every summer, about 100 boys and girls can attend a day camp. English and also a different sport are taught each week along with games, crafts and Bible stories.

If you want to impact youth for the future, invest in this project and see lives transformed for Christ.

This project serves thousands of Tigray youth by providing English language classes, computer training, HIV/AIDS education and prevention activities, opportunities for sports and recreation, a library, and a café. The youth center has become a model for all of Ethiopia.

The main objective is to build relationships and see Christ formed in young people.

The Winning Children, Growing Leaders project and Mekelle Youth Center are two of our featured projects for our 2016 Gift Guide.
