Amazing Grace

Written in 1772 by John Newton (a slave trader turned abolitionist), the hymn AMAZING GRACE has inspired countless souls towards spiritual renewal through God’s redeeming Grace. This universal message of redemption has resonated across cultures, faiths, and generations – a beautiful reminder that change and grace are possible for anyone.

This issue of SIMNOW bears witness to the transforming power of God’s amazing grace - from North Africa to Central Asia, Ukraine, Québec, and Angola. Through stories of quiet obedience and courageous faith—an 11-year-old boy stepping into the light, a joyful bathtub baptism, hope taking root among the Fulani, healing for refugees, renewal in war-torn Ukraine, and a new generation awakening in Québec—we see lives changed one story at a time. These pages remind us that God is still at work among the nations, drawing people to Himself and inviting each of us to participate in His mission—right where we are and across the world.

Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come:
'Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
