Sports Friends - Administration & Finance Assistant

Work with a regional team to provide assistance with ongoing activities of the ministry and financial recording. This individual will help other team members with general operating tasks, ensuring timely reporting by all team members, and helping the ministry to continue to thrive. Financial responsibilities include obtaining monthly expense reports from team members, submitting monthly reports to the SIM field Finance Manager and Sports Friends Director of Finance, and completing any necessary account reconciliations on a timely basis. This position is an essential part of the team and is perfectly suited for those with a servant’s heart.

Recommended experience: It is strongly recommended that the candidate possesses prior bookkeeping or accounting experience. Previous experience in office related work is also beneficial. Strong communication skills and experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook are required. Candidate will be required to operate in English and participate in regular video conference calls.

Support raising: Sports Friends workers raise their own support, but you don’t have to do it alone. Your local SIM office will help with training, resources, and guidance along the way. We have seen God provide for our workers over and over again!
