Use your professional skills and passion to do the good work of God’s Kingdom.
Our ministry is working in partnership with a growing but largely rural church. It seeks to train and equip church leaders such as pastors, evangelists, elders and lay personnel for church planting and mission. We have short or long-term opportunities for French-speaking teachers experienced in delivering theological education or specialist workshops in a variety of contexts.
To provide the services, care, and essential leadership to SIM workers to allow ministries to thrive. We aim to be disciples of Jesus, with a deep understanding of God's word, expressing God's love in our communities, worshipping together, and sharing the gospel locally and globally. If you feel God is calling you to any of these roles, please contact us.
Your professional skills are needed to provide practical, day-to-day support to mission workers and so allow ministry to flourish. Servants are needed in administrative leadership, finance, management, people care, office support, construction, information technology, website development and communications.
We aim to resource church leaders and equip them to teach and explain the Bible accurately and confidently in the evolving cultural context. Please talk to us if you feel God calling you to this ministry.
We would love you join us as we seek to be witnesses to Christ's love among the communities we serve, such as marginalised girls, university students, and young people. We also aim to help provide for the physical and spiritual needs of those affected by famine, HIV and AIDS, and Covid-19.
You'll be working in a defined geographical area on the streets of Cape Town alongside the local church. The women we engage with are mixed races from three language groups and aged from 15 to 50. As we journey with them we are involved with their families (often children and sometimes extended family).
University is an influential and strategic time in a young person's life. Through our presence on campus, we desire to see students become lifelong followers of Christ and missional influencers among their peers and in their communities. Our personnel needs include lecturers in various fields, who will live out their Christian faith on campus; campus "pastors" who will disciple students and organise campus ministries; and short-term interns looking for experience in campus ministry.
We do local church trainings on mission, lead short-term mission trips, and come alongside local churches to send out their own mission workers. Our personnel needs include people passionate about mobilising for mission to train local churches and people who can help organise and run short-term mission trips.
To provide excellent services to SIM workers, allowing them to excel in their ministries, while being a community of SIM workers living in love, led by the Holy Spirit, and joyfully accomplishing SIM's purpose in Namibia. We need people with administration gifts in finance, personnel, project management among others.
