Use your professional skills and passion to do the good work of God’s Kingdom.
This ministry vision is to see women living freely as children of God, reflecting His beauty and contributing to their communities. The ministry will build confidence and a sense of responsibility, through discipleship and development of creativity. Women will understand their identity is in Christ and grow their skills through artisan activities or through community development projects. These activities will be a form of outreach and income-generating projects, accessible to any women (and men), and will ultimately contribute to the development of a mature and growing church.
Development plays a large role in the improvement of social and economic opportunities for both individuals and communities. We desire to address human needs by investing in long-term infrastructure development in order to facilitate the improvement of health, opportunities and safety for communities. We demonstrate the love of Jesus through practical means and by addressing the structural challenges in our country. We wish to demonstrate the love of Jesus in practical ways and addressing the structural challenges in our country.
We long for all the children and young people in Benin to have a personal encounter with Jesus. Given at least 40 per cent of the population is under 14, this is no easy task! We are looking for outgoing, French-speaking people who love young people and are willing to work alongside the local church and para-church organisations so that more of Benin's next generation might hear the truths of the Bible. We need people to help equip and encourage leaders to run children's clubs, people to use sport as a platform to build relationships and share gospel hope, and people to invest in the lives of university students. Another vital need is school teachers to help grow and encourage a biblical worldview of education.
To provide a safe environment in which people can improve their education with quality instruction. We desire to provide education to people who do not otherwise have access to it, whether due to expense, distance, safety, gender or location. If you are a teacher at any level from elementary school to university looking for adventure, or are retired and want to see another part of the world, we would love to hear from you. There will always be more people with a desire to learn!
We are looking for people to join our SIM Benin Togo leadership and services team to help care for our cross-cultural workers, staff and local partners. Do you have skills in finance, including the preparation of annual budgets and local tax reports? Or skills in pastoral care, as we seek to visit and support our workers regularly? Come and use these gifts to help our workers and local partners flourish in a wide variety of settings, including ministries among least reached people groups and the next generation. Our admin team is based in a rural city and a working knowledge of French would be helpful.
Many Christian traders, employees and entrepreneurs do not know their daily work matters to God. They are his ambassadors for Christ in and through their work, Genesis 1:28, 2:15, Matthew 25:14-30, and Matthew 28:18-20. Our ministry aims to train and mentor this 'missing' frontline army of God in the northern regions of Ghana that God values them and that their daily work is to worship him and is missional.
Serving with like-minded organisations and churches in Ghana, which share the vision to see the Ghanaian church sending out workers into cross-cultural ministry. Our mobilisation teams will work to ignite a passion within the churches for the millions across the globe who have little witness to Christ. Through a deeper understanding of God's word and greater knowledge of the peoples of his world, our prayer is that many will respond to the heart call of God to take the good news of Jesus to places where he is least known.
Come alongside people living with HIV and their families in Benin as we seek to share about Hope for Life. We have a small but experienced team involved in medical treatment, providing holistic care and mentoring local volunteers. Our hope is that people living with HIV might experience new life in Christ, good physical health and healthy relationships free from stigma. Do you have skills in community development or youth work? We need people to encourage and grow local support groups and expand a teaching programme for young men and women. Children and youth workers, ideally French speaking, are also needed to help with holiday programmes.

a) Equipping theological educators to effectively teach and disciple church leaders (through training in teaching and holistic curriculum planning skills).
(b) Enabling theological institutions to cross barriers to reach out to a wider student base through the offering of online programmes.
The vision of the SIM ministry team is to see a witness to Christ's love among the Muslim community. To see Muslims becoming disciples of Jesus with a deep understanding of God's word, expressing God's love in their communities, worshipping together with the body of Christ and sharing the gospel. To see believers trained to share the gospel with Muslims in valuable and effective way.
