Tyler and Christiane aim to see the Word of Christ dwell richly amongst all in their midst, so that the good news of Jesus will go out beyond their midst, to where Christ is least known. They seek to walk with the Global Church so that all hear the voice of God more clearly and be empowered by the Spirit to make disciples of all nations. Tyler and Christiane have been in Cambridge (UK) with their kids (Caleb, Sophie, and Sam) since 2019, where Christiane has been serving in the SIM UK office. She oversees the ministry preparation training for UK missionaries and works with the ENGAGE program (https://sim.co.uk/our-work/ministries/ministry/partnering-with-a-uk-church/), which allows Global Majority missionaries to come serve in UK churches, especially as they try to reach diaspora communities in the UK. Tyler finished a Biblical Studies PhD in early 2025 and is now also working with SIM UK. The main part of his ministry is through the Acts 11 Project (https://churchmissionsociety.org/acts-11-project/) which focuses on helping churches come to grips with the critical subject of human migration and its implications for Christian faith and mission. Until 2018, Christiane also served with SIM in South Sudan, where she maintains strong connections with the community and where Tyler and Christiane hope to return in the future.
