Heather and Elias serve in Ethiopia as missionaries with SIM. Heather teaches middle and high school English and middle school art at Bingham Academy, a Christian international school dedicated to providing quality education within a multicultural community. The school's mission is to develop students of integrity who can impact the world for God's glory, integrating a Biblical worldview and fostering a learning environment enriched by students and staff from nearly 30 countries. Their children, Caleb, Sophia, and Lucas, attend Bingham Academy. Elias serves in mental health and trauma counselling for individuals, families, and groups affected by war, displacement, and human trafficking and other forms of trauma. He travels across Ethiopia, offering crisis response and psychological support to communities facing intense hardship. Additionally, Elias teaches at the Evangelical Theological College, training pastors, counsellors, and development workers in counselling ministry to further extend support across Ethiopia.
