Growing up in a Christian family, Ginny came to faith as a six-year-old child. Because her extended family and church are mission-minded, she knew from a young age that full-time ministry was in her future. After 22 years of full-time campus ministry in Canada, Ginny sensed a call to move overseas to serve marginalized people, specifically young women. Currently Ginny is serving in Chiang Mai in a holistic ministry that works with young women who are training as nannies and in hospitality services. The goal is to help these young women grow and flourish emotionally, physically, relationally, intellectually and spiritually as they develop life skills, job skills and have opportunity to further their education. Through the words and actions of staff and volunteers, their greatest prayer is that these young women will meet Jesus, be discipled, and be a light to others in their families and communities.
