Janet Karsgaard served with Tearfund Canada (previously World Relief) in international relief & development for 20+ years. She was a Project Manager working with national Christian organizations as they implemented timely and appropriate responses in poor and disaster-affected regions of Asia and Africa. Janet currently serves churches and community groups in East Toronto engaged in caring for newcomers to Canada. She also assists local churches as they prepare to sponsor, welcome and support refugees.
