Rolf and Angela first believed the Good News of Jesus as children in their local church and began following Him wholeheartedly during their teenage years in Bible camp ministry. They responded to the call to serve in mission while studying at Bible College where visiting missionaries shared about what God was doing among refugees. First individually, and later when they were married, Angela and Rolf began teaching English in Sudanese refugee camps. This naturally led into teaching the Bible and the Christian life. They have raised their five children in Ethiopia and Uganda among refugees and unreached peoples and continue to sense a calling to these. The words of 2 Corinthians 5:16-21 and 1 Thessalonians 1:6-10 have given meaning and purpose to their work. While the Kruses have been teaching English and preaching the Gospel, they have in turn witnessed the transforming work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of people who now demonstrate strong faith amidst difficult and dangerous circumstances. The Kruses passion is to see new believers living Christian lives in family, church and society. They continue to equip and partner with African brothers and sisters for acts of service and outreach in East Africa and beyond.  And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.

"We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 5:19b-20, NIV)

"You became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you welcomed the message in the midst of severe suffering with the joy given by the Holy Spirit." (1 Thessalonians 1:6, NIV)
