Soula and her late husband, Jean, have had a rich life of ministry in France, Greece, and Africa. Their service began in France and later in Africa with their 3 children. After some time back in France, the Lord led them to Canada to teach about missions in churches and Bible schools. During this time, they continued to do trips to West Africa to teach and encourage the Christians and to train leaders. In January 1999 the Lord took Jean Home very suddenly, which was a tremendous trial for Soula. Only by God's grace did she continue in the ministry, encouraging and teaching women in Greece, France, Quebec, and always in Africa. In 2006, 7 years after becoming a widow herself, the Lord led Soula to establish a ministry to the widows in West Africa. First in one country, then in Niger, and finally in Benin. Today this is known as the Dorcas Widows project. The ministry work of Dorcas helps hundreds of women in these three countries. Soula continues to teach, disciple, and minister to women and widows in Canada, Greece, and Africa.
