Charles and Sarah Millette have been serving with SIM since 2012, first in West Africa and then in Peru from 2015 to 2020. Currently, they now serve in Canada with the Sports Friends ministry, which began in the spring of 2021. Along their journey of faith, God opened their eyes to the need to be strong witnesses in this world, wherever He would have them live, boldly using their gifts of service, teaching and administration, and their passions for sports, health, and hospitality. As a ministry, by prayer and by faith, Sports Friends exists to see a global movement of churches using sports to make disciples of Jesus Christ. The Millettes’ mission is to build a ministry team present in every province and territory. They envision a team committed to serving and equipping local churches and church-planters by training coaches that will impact lives of thousands of families over time. These coaches aim to welcome young people in their Gospel-proclaiming, church-centred, sports ministry.
