Darryl and Katie first experienced God's call back to the mission field in late 2020. Through much prayer and seeking of God's will over the following months, they were led to Liberia to serve at the ELWA campus and arrived with their children (Camden, Cecelia and Chelsea) in September 2022. Darryl is currently serving as the Deputy Director and providing administrative support to ELWA Ministries. He enjoys serving alongside national coworkers and being able to build relationships with them on a daily basis. Katie is involved with facilitating Trauma Healing groups, mostly for women. She also helps with a support group called Kings Kids. It provides a community for families with disabled children and has been a source of hope for many who thought they were alone. Recently, Katie has been able to bridge these 2 areas of ministry by hosting trauma healing groups for families attending King's Kids.
