P & C, originally from Newfoundland, came to Toronto via Alberta and South Korea. They now live in the East end of Toronto in an area called Scarborough along with their two children. It was while they lived in South Korea that God was leading them back to Canada's largest city. He gave them a heart for the unreached people groups and a passion to see the church mobilized to reach those who have never heard the gospel. They live in a very multicultural community with people originally from South Asia, the Middle East, and other parts of the world. Many in their community have never heard the gospel, read the Bible or had a Christian friend. The vision of their ministry is to see a multiplying, disciple-making movement among the unreached in Scarborough, and to mobilize other believers to do the same. They do this by opening their home for meals with neighbours, teaching English, volunteering in the community, handing out Christmas and Easter baskets, hosting Bible studies, sharing the gospel, and training others how to reach out to their unbelieving neighbours. They also have an initiative called Stay Warm under which they give away hand-knitted items made by partners, to new Canadians, international students, and anyone else in need in their community.

"From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us." Acts 17:26-27 (NIV)
