Phil and Andrea Bauman serve in SIM International. Phil was born and raised in Ontario, Canada, while Andrea is from the UK. They met in Zambia while serving short-term and were married in the UK before settling in Canada. They began active service with SIM in 2000, working in Ghana for 19 years before taking on full-time international roles while based in Canada. Phil was appointed as SIM's International Director on 1 March 2024, serving alongside a diverse board and leadership team which includes men and women from across the world, all committed to fulfilling SIM's Purpose and Mission. Andrea serves as the International Personnel Coordinators Lead. Phil and Andrea have three adult kids and a granddaughter. In their free time, they enjoy the outdoors, hiking, biking and just spending time with friends.
