Martha joined SIM in 2002, first serving in Zambia with an Aids prevention project. In 2009, she moved to Kenya to continue this work in a new country, but the Lord redirected her to a ministry that more naturally used her gifts, meeting the large need of administrative support for the team. This was a much more natural fit! In her current role as the SIM Kenya Personnel Coordinator and Administrative Manager, Martha is engaged in the initial inquiries for ministry service in Kenya, to supporting missionaries retiring, and everything in between. She, along with her team, support all the workers in very practical ways, managing their administrative needs so that they can focus on their specific ministries. She ensures that all workers are orientated to life and ministry in Kenya, settled into their ministry placements, their children are enrolled in quality schools, and they have all that they need to thrive. She also visits the workers in their places of ministry, to understand, encourage, support, engage and pray with them.
