Sam came to faith at the age of 26 when a missionary shared with him the gospel. He was from an Orthodox cultural-Christian background. He was discipled and baptized after a few years and dedicated his life to serving Christ in many ways, with missions as his passion. He met with his wife Christine who was also missions-minded, and both felt God's call on their life to share the gospel with Arabic speakers from various backgrounds. They began their outreach in their country of origin, in the middle east, and then the Lord opened the door to continue this ministry among Arabic-speaking newcomers in Canada in 2015. God has used their language skills, cultural knowledge and, most importantly, the heart they have for their people. Their main goal is to build relationships with the new comer Arabic-speaking community by creating opportunities to come together and meet. Their desire is that through their words and actions that their new friends would sense Jesus's love. They share the message of Christ and connect believers with nearby Arabic-speaking churches. Sam and Christine have two children.
